Safe Water Marks

If the buoy is not spherical, it will have a spherical topmark (red). The light signal is white. Normally, a flashing white light indicates danger, but the white light of a Safe Water Mark flashes in a much more “relaxed” manner. As mentioned above, it will be isophase, occulting, long flash, or Morse Code “A” (short-long). The body of a safe water mark has red and white vertical stripes.
